2011/11/19 18:30:32 Bachchan family which is blessed with baby girl recently, is fondly addressing her as 'Beti B' for time being until her naming ceremony is performed. Amitabh Bachchan has revealed this in his recent tweets. He said the whole family is eagerly waiting to welcome the mother and child to home. Appreciating his daughter-in-law Aishwarya Bachchan, he wrote she has shown immense courage in bearing the pains for having a normal delivery than for a cesarean operation. Amitabh seems to be too much excited with the new arrival into his family. Ever since, she comes into this world he is showing more concern towards her than anything else. If, the baby absorbs his full attention towards her, probably we may loose a great actor. Aishwarya Bachchan may be discharged from hospital tonight or tomorrow.

Aishwarya Rai issues legal notice to Madhur Bhandarkar
2011/8/30 6:03:09
Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan has sent a legal notice to her former producers warning them against leaking her photo-shoot to promote Heroine.
The producers and the director of the film Heroine wont be able to use Aishwaryas name, while promoting the film. The actor, who was unceremoniously sacked following the announcement of her pregnancy, has sent a letter through her lawyers that she will seek damages if the pictures that she has shot for the film earlier, gets leaked out.
Aishwarya is wary about the extensive photo-shoot that she has done for the film. She was shot in numerous costumes. There were also a few shots that were canned as a test run. She is wary that those scenes might be leaked out as a promotion for the film, says source.
The letter that was sent through her lawyers, specifically addressed to Madhur, mentions that the actress will claim damages if any of those pictures or shots come out in the media.
Ash has already returned her acting fees, so theres nothing that makes her liable to her director or producer. She is still upset with the way Madhur wrote a huge blog against her which basically called her a liar. She always wanted to come back and complete the movie, but the way things turned out, has left a bad taste in her mouth, the source adds.
Though UTV and Madhur didnt comment on the legal notice sent to them, sources in the production house confirm that such a notice has arrived.
Madhur was not planning to use those stills, but we guess Ash didnt trust us. The photo-shoots that we have done with her for the promotions are really great pictures. We are sorry that these pictures wont be revealed ever to the world. Aishwarya is looking just awesome in the pictures. We are putting it in our safety vaults where it wont come out ever, says a source from the production house.

The baby, their first child, was born at the Seven Hills Hospital. Mother and daughter were both doing fine.
"IT'S A GIRL!!," Abhishek, 35, posted on micro-blogging site Twitter.com. He had recently said he wanted a daughter who looked like Aishwarya.
Proud grandfather Amitabh Bachchan too couldn't control his happiness and tweeted: "I AM DADA to the cutest baby girl, A dada ji ... Ecstatic."
Hospital sources said the delivery was normal and came a few minutes before 10 a.m. The Bachchan and Rai families were present for the momentous occasion.
Aishwarya, 38, developed labour pains around 4 a.m. and was taken to the labour room where the delivery took place after nearly six hours.
The actress is on the fifth floor of the luxury private hospital in Andheri east.
The hospital had booked three rooms on the floor -- one for Aishwarya, the other for the Bachchan family and the third for the Rai family. The entire floor was kept out of bounds for all except the two families.
The hospital has been under tight security for the past three days in expectation of the youngest member of the Bachchan family.
Aishwarya was admitted to the hospital Monday night, according to her spokesperson.
The Bachchan family had been waiting for the baby's arrival for a few days and preparing for the child's welcome.
The girl is Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan's third grandchild, after Agastya and Navya Naveli -- children of his daughter Shweta and son-in-law Nikhil Nanda.
Aishwarya tied the knot with Abhishek in April 2007 and rumours about her pregnancy had been doing the rounds ever since.
In June this year, when Amitabh announced her pregnancy through Twitter, it grabbed the headlines.
A 10-point advisory by the Broadcast Editor's Association (BEA) reportedly asked TV channel heads to curtail media coverage regarding the high-profile delivery.

His wife Latha was terribly upset with the rumors in the media about her husbands death and appealed the fans not to believe the rumors. His son-in-law Dhanush put a photograph of Rajinikanth and his wife Aishwaryas (Rajinikanths daughter) in his tweeter page, which was taken at hospital. Here is the latest photo of Rajinikanth.
Look at the photo. This is a very rare photo. The old man in a 'Rushi' get up is none other than the late NT Rama Rao. Can you guess the identity of the young boy besides him? Well, he is none other than the young Nandamuri tiger Jr. NTR.
The photo is from NT Rama Rao's film 'Brahmarshi Vishwamitra'. Jr. NTR played a small role in the film. This is a rare picture of grandfather NTR with his grandson NTR!
Recently Shah Rukh Khan's photo did the ruds on the et. the photo shows SRK kissing another man on the mouth. The lip to lip kiss between two men raised a lot of eyebrows.
Now a similar photo is doing the rounds on the net. Hero Allu Arjun is seen kiissng his cousin young hero Ram Charan.
There is a rumour in film circles that Allu Arjun is gay. The photo only reinforces that rumour!
Mumbai, Oct 19 (IANS) Actors like Saira Banu, Asha Parekh and Dimple Kapadia, as well as designers like Neeta Lulla and Shaina NC made a beeline at the Bachchan household Jalsa here Tuesday for the grand baby shower of Aishwarya Rai.
The Bandra house was decorated with flowers, and was packed with people in the afternoon.
Aishwarya is said to have worn an orange-coloured Indian ensemble for the occasion. If guests are to be believed, she looked ethereal, with the glow of any mother-to-be on her face. The actress, married to Abhishek Bachchan, is eight months pregnant.
"Aishwarya was looking like a 'chand ka tukda'. She was looking beautiful. We wish Abhishek and Aishwarya all the best," Saira Banu, who gifted Aishwarya a gold coin, told a news channel.
Choreographer Saroj Khan, who has made Aishwarya dance on songs like "Nimbooda", "Taal se taal mila" and "Barso re", shared some scenes from the Bachchan household.
"I have never seen so many celebrity women together. All the women went up to Aishwarya and blessed her. Jayaji received each guest personally and was very warm. Even her daughter, Shweta, gave personal attention to everyone. There were a lot of songs and celebration," said Khan.
The veteran choreographer wasn't just praises for Aishwarya alone, but also for Abhishek, who wore a white sherwani style kurta.
"Aishwarya looked pretty in orange. Her face had such a glow. She was decorated with mogra flowers. Even Abhishek looked extremely happy. God bless them both and may the child have a long life," she added.

Earlier, the 69-year-old wrote: "The family gathers together from all over as we wait for the 'arrival' ... Greatest joy for me - a full house and the 'chahel - pahel' (hustle bustle)."
Aishwarya, 38, and Abhishek, 35, tied the knot in April 2007.
Hrithik Roshan has become the proud father of another baby boy. The Bollywood star's wife Suzanne gave birth to the baby at Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital on Thursday.
"Both the baby and the mother are doing fine," a doctor at the hospital told PTI. The baby, which weighed 3.3 kgs, was born at 11.27 am. This is their second baby. Their first son Hrehaan is one-and-half-years old.
Media is abuzz with the news about Aishwarya Bachchan delivery. While some sections in the media predict twins for Aish, some predicts exact date 11.11.11 for her delivery despite there is no official confirmation about it. The over enthusiasm shown by the media on this issue has comes to BEA (Broadcasting Editors' Association) notice, which slaps some guidelines to media over this particular matter.
It orders not to publish or telecast any predictions about the date, gender, health, photo or horoscope of the baby until Amitabh Bachchan family officially gives information and permission. BEA also asks the media not to stall its OB vehicles before the Hospital for giving live-updates from the Hospital. It also asks its media-members not to start any type of discussions on this subject thus creating embarrassment to Big B family. Hope media would honor the guidelines.
Kim Sharma blames Bawa of offensive exposure on a photo shoot
2006/7/18 8:26:58
To be featured as a cover girl for a mens magazine like Maxim isnt anything small. Esp. when it comes for actress Kim Sharma who isnt that big a name in industry. But seems like Kim might lose this opportunity for her pricey attitude.
Just last week the actress was having a photo-shoot with popular photographer Vikram Bawa who has clicked big names in the industry from Amitabh Bachchan to Shahrukh Khan on his lens. But things went wrong during the photo-session that happened at Bawas residence. And the shoot had to be called off because of a major showdown between the two.
Bawa blames it to Kims pricey attitude and the constant cribbing and tantrums that she flaunted on the shoot. The photographer says that Kim had a problem with the clothes, complained of being allergic to the Baby Oil (used to add a shine to the skin in such photo-shoots), was not giving the right expressions for the pictures and later wanted to leave early too.
Kim on her part clarifies that it was Bawa who wanted to wrap up the shoot early since he was to attend a show where he was selected as the judge. Talking about her outfits, Kim adds that she had firmly told the stylist that she wont be wearing revealing clothes for the shoot but was finally given bikini tops and shorts.
Bawa justifies that they were shooting for a mens magazine for which some cleavage was necessary. But he lost it when Kim falsely blamed him of using the blower fan that would result in some additional skin show. He also adds that at one point Kim got so furious that she said Do you want to see my breasts.
Former Miss World turned Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is pregnant, her father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan has revealed.
"NEWS NEWS NEWS !! I AM GOING TO BECOME A GRANDFATHER .. AISHWARYA EXPECTING .. SO HAPPY AND THRILLED !!!," the veteran megastar wrote on his Twitter account late on Tuesday.
Aishwarya Rai, 37, married Bachchan's actor son, Abhishek, 35, in April 2007.
The child will be their first and comes after weeks of media speculation in Indian gossip columns about the actress' fluctuating weight.
Bachchan Senior later said on the micro-blogging site that he was "overwhelmed" with the response to the news from followers and had received 2,843 Tweets of congratulation in just half an hour.
The pregnancy was confirmed earlier in the day, he wrote on his blog, bigb.bigadda.com, early Wednesday, adding: "There is joy and happiness around us," he added.
There was no immediate indication when the baby was due. The Bachchans - Amitabh, his actress wife Jaya, Aishwarya and Abhishek - are Bollywood's "first family" and have a fanatical following in India and around the world. His daughter, Shweta Nanda, has two children.

Big B denies controlling coverage of grandchild's birth
2011/11/8 10:36:22
New Delhi, Nov 8 (IANS) Megastar Amitabh Bachchan says he has no intention of controlling the electronic media coverage of his grandchild's birth.
His daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai is expected to deliver a baby in mid-November.
Responding to a report that said he approached the Information and Broadcasting Ministry (I&B) to ban TV channels from placing reporters and cameras outside the hospital, Bachchan tweeted: "I&B and media matter! Firstly, I have no such intention ever, secondly do you really think I&B would listen to me!?? No way baby.
Big B, who was also informed of the development through a message from a senior journalist, took to his blog to clarify that he had no role to play in moving these guidelines.
He wrote Monday night: "...this afternoon a print media sent a message - 'have you told the Information and Broadcasting Ministry to stop OB Vans from being anywhere near your house and hospital during the delivery of the baby."
"This was of course not true and a lot of nonsense, so I put the PR agency to look after the matter. They came back with the response that they contacted the journalist and told them that the news was wrong and refuted it on my behalf, but also told me that apparently there is news that the I&B Ministry has passed an order stating that the dignity of a patient should be respected and that the placing of OB Vans outside hospitals be not allowed."
A media report said that the Broadcast Editors Association (BEA) has issued a 10-point advisory to its members on how to cover the birth of Bachchan's grandchild.
Be it Amitabh's son Abhishek's wedding, Aishwarya's baby shower, Karva Chauth or Diwali -- all such events at the Bachchan household have attracted mass media coverage in the recent past.
