Jr NTR has signed a new project with Trivikram Srinivas and the film in all likelihood will be a family entertainer.
After the not-so-big hit of Oosaravilli, NTR, who has been busy with his upcoming powerful movie Dammu under Boyapati direction, has agreed for this film and industry pins hopes on this film.
NTR has given green signal for Trivikram and is also happy with the script. Some final changes were made by duo after having long discussions on the script.
NTR was supposed to act under Trivikram direction long back, but since he was busy with the shooting for his upcoming films continuously at that time, the project was delayed.
The film is being produced by KL Narayana under Sri Durga Art’s banner.
Thrivikarm Srinivas has earlier directed Mahesh Babu and Pawan Kalyan in Athadu and Jalsa and the two films were run away hits. (INN)
The PCC chief D Srinivas made a strong rebuttal to TRS leader KCR's comments on the Khairatabad issue. Reacting strongly to KCR's statement that the TRS would field a candidate against P Vishnuvardhan Reddy and his suggestion asking Vishnu to contest as an independent, DS threw a challenge to KCR.
D Srinivas asked KCR to contest the election in Khairatabad if he had any guts. KCR was the first to moot a no-contest in Khairatabad when P Janardhan Reddy died. He has now changed his mind and is trying to cover it up with vague statements.
2011/11/15 17:55:56 The North Zone team of Commissioner's Task Force, North Zone arrested a person who was alleged involved in the sale of pirated DVDs of newly released Telugu and Hindi movies.
On a tip off, the police team raided the Venkateshwara Music Gallery at Chilkalguda owned by accused Karampudi Srinivas and seized DVDs of 36 Telugu and Hindi movies which are containing combination of newly released Telugu movies including Dukudu, Oosaravelly, Mogudu, Seventh Sense, Nuvvilaa, O..My Friend and Hindi movies combination of Ra-One, Body guard, Force, Singham, Mausam and Rascals from his possession.
According to police, one unknown person was supplying pirated DVDs of various Telugu and Hindi movies to Srinivas at Rs 20 each. He in-turn, used to sell the same to known customers for Rs. 75 to Rs 100.
The accused and seized pirated DVDs were handed over to Chilkalguda Police Station for taking necessary action. (INN)
2008/3/25 11:27:21 The congress high command has finally made up its mind and appointed minister D Srinivas as the PCC chief. DS as e is popularly known is taking up the post for a second time. DS was the PCC chief in 2004 when the congress party rode to power beating the ruling Telugu Desam party.
D Srinivas thanked party Chief Sonia Gandhi for reposing faith in him and putting such a huge responsibility on him. Both YS Rajashekar Reddy and D Srinivas met Sonia Gandhi in Delhi and the announcement came soon thereafter.
YS hailed the announcement and termed it as a winning combination. D Srinivas said that he has no differences with YS and would work hard to ensure the party’s success during the assembly elections. The immediate task is to work for success of the party’s candidates during the crucial by-elections.

2008/3/26 3:29:35 The appointment of Dharmapuri Srinivas has come as a hard pill to swallow for chief minister YS Rajashekar Reddy. YSR is putting up a brave face but in private, he is none too happy at the development.
It may be recalled here that D Srinivas was at the helm when the last assembly elections were held. The congress party defeated the TDP and came to power. D Srinivas immediately staked his claim to the chief minister’s post. He said that as the PCC chief who led the party to power, he was the natural choice and claimant for the high office.

His appointment is largely seen as a move by the high command to keep a check on the activities of chief minisiter YS Rajashekar Reddy. Srinivas has good relations among party members and with seniors in particular.

Having proved his management skills in handling the Telangana strike, PCC president Botsa Satyanarayana is preparing to form his own team to dominate Gandhi Bhavan politics. Addressing a press conference on Saturday, Botsa confirmed that soon he would be appointing the new presidents for the district bodies. He said no changes were made in the PCC body after he assumed charge as the president. Therefore, a new team might be appointed soon.
According to sources, Botsa has already shortlisted the candidates for the post of DCC presidents. He is likely to get the party's High Command nod to appoint people of his choice. However, he is also trying to ensure that the new appointments do not displeases other power centers in the party. While Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy has recommended some names, MLA Chiranjeevi is trying to accommodate his erstwhile Praja Rajyam Party leaders on key posts. However, former PCC president D Srinivas who returned to limelight after his election as MLC is making efforts that his team is not displaced.
Botsa has reportedly shortlisted the candidates after consulting all the three leaders. Besides, DCC presidents, major changes are likely to happen in the PCC state-body.
