The failure of a movie may not so badly affect its hero as it affects the heroine. But, if the movie runs successfully then the whole credit goes to its hero and director. Then only the heroine is entitled to claim a small part of the success. Speaking to Bollywood media at Mumbai she said, “I couldn’t believe that such a big film with such a popular star like Pawan Kalyan also fails like any other ordinary film. In fact, while doing the film I have several times asked the film director and producer to allow me to sign other films, but they didn’t give me permission. They have taken near about two years of my precious time for making this film, and finally leave me nowhere. During that period, I was obliged to leave several film offers because of the Puli director and producer’s insistence. But, I have observed that the director SJ. Surya and Pawan Kalyan were least affected with this flop-show. Both of them have plenty of offers in their hands and become busy with their next projects. I am the one who become the victim of this movie.”
“While doing the film several times I have asked the director SJ Surya about the over-dose of my action part, but he keep saying me that Telugu audiances like that style only. Finally, neither the Telugu audiances have accepted it nor the Bollywood film makers have appreciated my performance. In other words, this movie Puli virtually ruined my career. Now, I have to begin from the scratch. I have to run behind the producers and directors for film offers like any other fresh candidate now,” said Nikisha Patel.

The first schedule of 'Vihari' directed by Tulasikumar and produced by Prabhakar G and Mahesh G on the banner of Dasami Creations with Mithun, Polin Mishra, Nikisha in the lead. Director Tulasikumar says, 'We have shot the film for about 30 days in Vizag as part of the first schedule. We have erected a special set in the middle of the sea near the beach exclusively for the film and the setting had attracted the locals very much.
Two songs were also canned there itself. The second schedule would begin from February 5 at Kerala and the next schedule is planned in Kanyakumari for about 15 days, with which we will wrap up the shooting.'
