Mumbai, Nov 21 (IANS) Shahid Kapoor, who is here after his Spanish vacation, is trying to complete his ad shoots before he finalises new film projects. In one of the commercials, he has teamed up with Priyanka Chopra.
He shot two ads Wednesday in Madh Island on two adjacent sets - one for a paint brand and the other for a coffee brand, the latter with Priyanka which required them to splash water on one another in a garden.
We asked Shahid about his double-ad shoot and he said: "It was just another working day. What's there to say?"
Shahid and Priyanka are also shooting for Kunal Kohli's untitled film together and while shooting the ad both the actors tried to keep as much cordiality as possible. But apparently the duo simply refused to give joint bytes to the waiting television journalists who had gathered at the venue of the ad-shoot.
This refusal was most surprising in the light of the fact that media-persons had been invited to cover the shooting as a Shahid-Priyanka event.
Interestingly, director Ayaan Mukerjee, close friend of Shahid's, was also present at the venue to shoot another ad with Shahid.
"Shahid wouldn't budge from his no-joint-bytes stance, and Priyanka agreed with him. They both felt that at this point in their working relationship, the last thing they needed was televised togetherness," said a source.
It looks like yet another difficult chapter in the Shahid Kapoor-Priyanka Chopra story. After that candid and chemistry-packed appearance on 'Koffee With Karan', we would have thought all was well with the couple for keeps. But now, they've gone and had another fight. And it's become so serious that the couple stayed away from each on Valentine's Day, and didn't so much as exchange a text message on Feb 14.
Apparently Shahid is not too happy that Priyanka is super busy with the 'Don 2' shoot. Buzz is that she is in talks to sign another movie with Ranbir Kapoor, whom she got close to during 'Anjaana Anjaani'. This hasn't gone down too well with Sasha either.
So while Priyanka returned to Mumbai from Malaysia yesterday (Feb 14) she kept busy promoting '7 Khoon Maaf', and didn't spend time with Shahid at all.

They broke up even before they made it official! Actors Priyanka Chopra and Shahid Kapoor have reportedly parted ways. What more! The ‘7 Khoon Maaf’ star may give Shahid’s birthday a miss! The actor, who has turned 30 today, is throwing a close door bash for family and friends. But Priyanka won’t be there to wish the birthday boy. According to sources, PC has flown to the US for a short break.
Speculation are rife that PC has gone out of the country to recapitulate post the hectic promotion of her latest flick ‘7 Khoon Maaf’. Sources have also added that Piggy Chops is not happy with the lukewarm response that the film has got and hence taken a few days off in the US.
But missing beau’s birthday to spend time alone PC? Is that the done thing? Shahid would be celebrating his birthday today minus Priyanka and perhaps nursing a broken heart. Interestingly, Priyanka’s parents have been invited to the party. The couple have formed a good rapport with Shahid in the past few months. And why not? The actor was perpetually seen at Priyanka’s pad who also happens to be his neighbour.
When they were seeing each other Shahid and PC were inseparable. Their crackling chemistry was very much evident at Karan Johar’s chat show and even though they denied seeing each other, we all knew what the truth was. So Priyanka missing Shahid’s bash seems a bit surprising and possibly just a rumour.
Priyanka’s manager confirmed to a leading daily that the actress will not attend Shahid`s bash that is happening in a suburban Italian joint.

Director Kunal Kohli is readying to direct his next film which will be an out and out love story spanning a time period of 100 years. The lead roles in the film will be played by Priyanka and Shahid, who, as everyone from the movie buffs to income tax guys know, are in a relationship.
When Priyanka heard the narration of this century-long love story, that too with Shahid, she was reportedly so thrilled that she made changes in her dates diary to accommodate Kunal’s film, likely to go on the floors in May this year.
Presently, Kunal is finalizing the shooting locations for the film. He hasn’t zeroed down on the movie’s title yet, but is open to suggestions.
Shahid Kapoor is most unlikely to watch Priyanka Chopra and Ranbir Kapoor’s upcoming romantic comedy Anjaana Anjaani. Reason? The movie has Priyanka and Ranbir kissing in two scenes. And Shahid certainly isn’t thrilled about his ‘ladylove’ locking lips with another man, even for a film.
Shahid and Priyanka haven’t confirmed their romance to the media although the two have ostensibly been more than good friends. Just a few days back, the duo were spotted watching Salman Khan’s film Dabangg together at a suburban multiplex in Mumbai.
We hear that when Shahid learnt about Priyanka’s passionate kisses with Ranbir in Anjaana Anjaana he wasn’t pleased. The two kissing scenes were not part of the original script but were added on the spot by director Siddharth Anand while shooting the film in the US.
Rumour has it that though Shahid didn’t blow his top after learning about the kisses, he did make his displeasure known to Priyanka. Nor is he reportedly looking forward to watch Anjaana Anjaani when it releases on October 1.

Bollywood’s one of the most talked about couples Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra might be wanting to give some more time to their relationship, but it seems that PC just cannot hide her feelings when it comes to talking about Sasha.
Recently, in an exclusive interview with the filmfare magazine, Priyanka candidly revealed all that she loves about the ‘Kaminey’ actor and things she dosen’t like in him.
“I think he's a fantastic actor," she quipped. The actor also confessed that the one characteristic she loves in Shahid is his honesty.
On asking, one thing she doesn’t like about him, she said, “Nothing, he’s just fine the way he is.”
The 28-year-old actress, who has worked with both Shahid (in ‘Kaminey’) and Ranbir Kapoor (in ‘Anjaana Anjaani’), said that though she shares good chemistry with both of them, “ it’s a little more” with Shahid.

Recently a news of both being separated flashed. Shahid celebrated his birthday without his lady love Piggy Chops. He turned 30, his entire family and friends attended the party, while Priyanka was far away in U.S. This news made the columnists to suspect that the duo have broken off. Shahid and Priyanka roped in for a period love story

Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra have been roped in by filmmaker Kunal Kohli for his upcoming film which is based on 100 years of love.
Kunal stated “A period love story needs to have the correct title. I haven’t finalized on any as yet. I would love some suggestions; it would certainly make it easier for me.”
He added “I am currently doing a recce for the film. We have to zero down on various locations, as the movie covers 100 years.”
The title of this love story has not yet been finalized. In the film the duo will be seen in various getups. Shahid and Priyanka were earlier seen together in “Kaminey”.
Kunal Kohli’s upcoming untitled film will go on floors this May. Hope the duo can create the same magic once again which they had created in “Kaminey”.

The ‘Kaminey’ star who was celebrating his special day with close friends had to call off his bash abruptly after complaints were lodged by the local residents over loud music and noise that was being created at Olive club, a pub in Mumbai.
The media was quick to reach the spot and the Police followed. The event organisers have been held responsible for not abiding by the rules set for late night parties and events. However, no one has been arrested.
But Sasha would not have wanted things to get so ugly on his big day, especially when his ladylove Priyanka Chopra was not by his side. But a sport that he is, Shahid was cool and composed even amidst the chaos.

Ever since they started shooting for Vishal Bhardwaj’s Kaminey two years ago, Priyanka Chopra and Shahid Kapoor’s off-screen association has always been a subject of speculation. Sources say that the two recently decided to avoid coming face to face because of the reported bad vibes between them. By the way, we’re shooting an ad together in the next two days. That I’m sure will lead to another set of speculations… that we’ve patched up and buried the hatchet and so on. Don’t you guys get tired?”
While one set of recent reports claimed that Shahid was upset with Priyanka for planting negative stories about him in the press, another stated that he wanted her back in his life and was following her around. But despite excessive efforts, Priyanka refuses to clear the air on their relationship. “I don’t want to clarify any speculations,” she says. “If I put an end to one rumour, another one is raked up. It makes no sense to continuously answer people whom I’m not answerable to. I have never spoken about my personal life and equations, and I choose to maintain that throughout my life.”
Meanwhile, the actors have begun shooting for Kunal Kohli’s love story, tentatively titled Janam Janam Ka Saath Hai Hamaara Tumhara. “If the producers don’t like the title, they will change it. But it’s on floors; we’ve started on the date we thought we would,” says Priyanka, adding that Shahid and she have had several script reading sessions together and independently.
“We’ve been paired opposite each other. We’re supposed to emulate various forms of love on screen. If there’s any bad blood and we don’t get along with each other, do you think we’ll be able to play a romantic couple on screen convincingly?”

"I feel very happy and glad about it. I like it (female attention), it's nice," Shahid told IANS.
The 30-year-old, who was earlier dating Kareena Kapoor and was rumoured to be in a relationship with Priyanka Chopra, admits he wasn't always comfortable with compliments from the fairer sex.
"Initially I used to not know how to deal with it. I used to get flustered and didn't know how to react to it. But now, I like it. It feels good.
"I have learnt to accept the fact that this is what I wanted and it is good to know that people like you and they love you. It is wonderful to feel so. So yes, I like it, I love it," said Shahid, flashing his dimpled smile.
The dashing actor, whose work in his father Pankaj Kapoor's directorial debut "Mausam" won him many praises, loved working in the romantic saga.
But asked about romance in his life, he replied: "I have no idea about my love story. I think love is the most unpredictable thing and it happens when you least expect it, and the way it turns out to be, you never thought it would.
"That's the beauty of romance… you never know how it's going to be, you can't predict it. But when it happens, I guess I'll know! Till then, even I am guessing how my love story would be," he said.

It all started at the chat show Koffe with Karan when Shahid Kappor’s ex girlfriend Kareena made fun of his current girl Priyanka’s accent.
Well Piggy Chopra did not sit quite on this and reciprocated with same vibes saying that she has acquired her accent from the same place from where Saif Ali Khan got his.

Priyanka Chopra’s visited Saif Ali Khan on the set of ‘Agent Vinod’ sparked the rumor that she is in a relationship with the actor but the dusky beauty rubbishes the report and said that such stories are made by media and she does not share any relationship with Saif Ali Khan.
When asked Priyanka Chopra said, “It was just a casual meeting. Now please don’t link me up with him at least. There was nothing negative between us, really. We never hated each other. Everything was hyped.”
Piggy Chops also added that she is not dating Shahid Kapoor now and is very much single. “I’m not seeing anyone right now and I am very much single.”
She is currently shooting for ‘Barfee’ with Ranbir Kapoor. Giving and insight of the story, the actress said, “So far, I have only shot for five days. Playing a mentally challenged girl is difficult as there is a very thin line between being a caricature and portraying the real character. This is my toughest role so far”.
Shahid Kapur sure is a very charming guy. He has managed to maintain a cordial relationship with his ex girlfriend Kareena Kapoor, while keeping the ball rolling with Vidya Balan and Sania Mirza. We’ve got confirmation that a bunch of B-town celebs, including Priyanka Chopra, Koena Mitra and Shahid Kapoor will be Nelly’s opening act on New Year’s Eve.
What’s more A R Rahman too will be performing along with Canadian-based desi band Josh (who are instrumental in bringing the singer to India).

Says Koena, “I’m performing to five of my favourite songs, including the latest tracks from Apna Sapna Money Money.” This will be followed by a jam session between the other performers, except for A R Rahman. Says Priyanka, “Unfortunately, I haven’t met Nelly and will see her only on stage. I’m going to be travelling to South Africa for God Tussi Great Ho, after which I will head to Prague to shoot for Drona. I don’t even have the time for technical rehearsals.”
Miss Piggy Chops is such a big fan of the international artiste that she even has her songs as her mobile’s caller tune. She says, “Promiscuous is my current favourite. In fact, I had the track I’m like a bird for the longest time.”
For Koena, however, the jamming session with Nelly is the big draw. “I’m so used to doing solo shows. It’s rare to share the stage with fellow colleagues. I’m equally excited as it’s a Nelly Furtado concert.”
Why not, Shahid?
The Bolly beauties have no qualms about working on the New Year’s Eve either. “This is the first time I’m working on New Year’s Eve,” says Priyanka. “In the past, I’ve only shot for a couple of hours in the day and then rushed back home to be with family. This time around, I’m going to usher in the New Year with thousands of people. It’s going to be a wonderful experience,” she says.
On the other hand, Koena says, “Seeing the pop diva belting out numbers beside me is going to be quite an exciting experience.”
Meanwhile, a hesitant Shahid Kapur refused to divulge whether he was doing the concert or not. A source close to him says, “He is in talks with them. and yet to finalise his participation.”
